This dress fits wonderfully. As long as you measure yourself correctly, the measurement guide will help you find the perfect fit. If you’re busty, this dress can even be worn without a bra because the lace back and built in bra help ensure the girls stay in place where you want them to be. LOVEEEEE this dress. I admit that I didn't have high hopes when I ordered this dress. Who ever heard of buying a wedding dress from Dennisdresses I mean - costume jewelry to complement a wedding dress is one thing - but the actual dress? It's akin to looking for a bottle of Dom Perignon at your local Walmart - don't expect much luck.
So yeah .... I bought this dress on a whim and had very low expectations, but I took a chance because - with two day shipping and free returns - I really had nothing to lose. This unexpected gem caught my attention because it was similar to a dress I fell in love with when I was combing through the David's Bridal website. However, this dress cost $1000 less than the similar DB dress, so naturally I was skeptical about it's quality. I had an appointment to visit DB so I could try on that dress (and others) in person. But because my partner and booked a semi-spontaneous trip to Vegas to elope, we only gave ourselves Three weeks to prepare. I had to be open to all options. I wasn't going to put all of my eggs in one basket and rely on one wedding dress source. So in the days before I was due for that DB appointment, I spent hours online combing through bridal styles and searching the websites of every wedding dress retailer within a 50 miles radius. Yes, I can be frugal when necessary, but it isn't every day that a girl marries her dream boy - after nearly 14 years together - and I wasn't looking to be a cheapskate. Toilet paper bargains are one thing, but wedding dress bargains have the potential to end badly. I was fully expecting my wedding dress to be the most expensive clothing purchase I'd ever make. My goal was to find a dress that made me feel beautiful and could take my husband's breath away on the most meaningful day of our lives. I didn't seriously consider Dennisdresses as a source for that dress, but curiosity led me to do one of those "ah, what the heck" searches.When I scrolled down and saw this dress, I couldn't believe how beautiful it was. But I'm a practical girl and I know that pictures lie. I do enough online shopping to know that, oftentimes, what you see is NOT what you get. Plus, clothing sizes are often WAY OFF the mark. All I could do was hope that the pictures accurately represented the dress. I figured I needed at least a size 12 to accommodate my top-heavy physique. (If only I could transfer some of my excess boob flab to my butt.) However, the size 12 was not in stock and it would have taken several weeks to arrive.Less than Two weeks hours later, I came home to find a very un-fancy plastic bag sitting at my front door. I brought it inside and opened it. What came out of that bag shocked me! The $229 wedding dress I bought on a whim from Dennisdresses looked just like it did in the pictures - and it was absolutely beautiful! And when I tried it on, it fit me perfectly. I basically won the lottery with this dress. It was the first wedding dress I tried on - and as soon as I looked in the mirror, I knew it was THE ONE I was going to wear when I said my vows. I ended up cancelling my David's Bridal appointment. And last week, as I walked down the aisle towards my husband-to-be, I managed to do what I'd hoped to do - take his breath away.
This dress cost me $229. The truth is, I would have been willing to spend 6x that amount. So ladies .... if you're on the fence about buying this wedding dress - just go for it. If it doesn't fit, just return it. It really is a lucky find .... a true needle in a haystack. You really have nothing to lose.

I got a size 10, and used the sizing chart. It is a beautiful dress, and I got tons of compliments the day of my wedding. I definitely would recommend it to anyone considering it.

This is a measurement of the fullest part of your bust or body circumference at the bust. It is a body measurement which measures the circumference of a woman's torso at the level of the breasts.
Wrap the tape around the fullest part of your bust and center the tape on your back so it's levelled all the way around.

This isn't your bra size!
Your arms should be relaxed, and down at your sides.
Wear the bra you're planning to wear with your dress when taking this.
WAIST
This is a measurement of your natural waistline, or the smallest part of your waist.
Run tape around natural waistline, keeping tape parallel with floor. Bend to one side to find natural indentation in torso. This is your natural waist.
HIPS
This is a measurement around fullest part of your buttocks.
Wrap tape around the fullest part of your hips, which is usually 7-9" below your natural waistline. Keep tape parallel with floor all the way around.
HOLLOW TO HEM
This is the distance from your hollow to the hem of the dress.
Hold the measuring tape at your hollow while a friend pulls it down to the length you want your dress.
*Tips:
When taking this measurement, stand straight with your feet together.
We define knee length as the area just below your knee caps.
Measuring too high may result in a dress that is too short.
If this is a floor length dress please make sure you measure without wearing shoes.
BACK SHOULDER WIDTH
This is the distance from the edge of the left shoulder across to the prominent neck bone located at the center of the back of the neck continuing to the edge of the right shoulder.
Place the tape on "top" of the shoulders. Measure from the edge of the left shoulder across to the prominent neck bone located at the center of the back of the neck continuing to the edge of the right shoulder.
SLEEVE LENGTH
This is the measurement from your shoulder seam to where you would like your sleeve to end.
Measure from your shoulder seam to desired sleeve length with your arm relaxed by your side to get the best possible measurement.
*Tips:
Measure with your arm slightly bent.
ARMSCYE
This is the measurement of your armhole.
*Tips:
In order to take your armscye measurement, you must wrap the measuring tape over the top of your shoulder and around under your armpit.
ARM CIRCUMFERENCE
This is a measurement around the fullest part of your upper arm.
*Tips:
Measure with the muscle relaxed.
