This dress is so well made, comfortable, and true to size. I’m 5’5” wearing 4 inch heels and still needed to have it altered 2.5 inches but I loved it. The pockets are awesome. Tons of compliments. Don’t hesitate… buy the dress.
Definitely worth the money! The fabric is beautiful and silky. I did have the dress altered to my height since it was quite long but I expected it for being a shorty XP. I wore this dress to the USMC birthday ball and had a decent time with it on. My bust was a bit bigger for the top so at times I felt like the neck piece was strangling me. If you think you’ll have that problem with that, I ended up connecting the neck lace to the back lace making into a tank top type of vibe. But other then that, I’d def recommend!
I also saw someone else wearing the same dress and she looked gorgeous, I bet she’d agree !
Such a huge risk I took buying a gown online. I refuse to drive all over creation trying on gowns. This gown is magnificent. The fabric quality is outstanding, it is not flimsy or thin. It is a quality, soft material that holds the seems and lays perfectly. It is constructed like that of a gown that would be far more expensive. The sequins at the bodice are well sewn and not overbearing against the dress. The trick is getting it on. You will have to have someone help you. The ties in the back have to be laced and cinched just so. I bought a crinoline skirt for poof for underneath and to lift it up. Which worked but instead of taking it somewhere to hem it, I lifted fabric about an inch from the inside at the bottom of the bodice and gently secured it with safety pins. Which worked like a charm. I am 5"4" and with 3-inch heels, it was a little long. This gown is gorgeous and will be worn to a USMC ball in November.
Ordered this dress for a military ball. Last minute purchase and it can in quick. I sent them my measurements, and when I tried it on it was perfect. I didn’t need to take it in for more alterations. It was a great fit. Plus it has pockets!! Such a great addition, especially when I try not to take much at the ball. Would purchase again in a different color.
So I have searched the earth for this style dress for my daughter’s wedding. I read the reviews and crossed my fingers. The dress is absolutely perfect. I wish it zipped up the back instead of lacing, but honestly that made it fit perfectly. I’m 5’3” on a good day and it is really long. I weigh 128 lbs. but rather chesty (32 D). It fit perfectly!! I normally wear a size 6, but chose a size 8 because of the sizing chart. It is perfect!!

BUST
This is a measurement of the fullest part of your bust or body circumference at the bust. It is a body measurement which measures the circumference of a woman's torso at the level of the breasts.
Wrap the tape around the fullest part of your bust and center the tape on your back so it's levelled all the way around.
*Tips
This isn't your bra size!
Your arms should be relaxed, and down at your sides.
Wear the bra you're planning to wear with your dress when taking this.
WAIST
This is a measurement of your natural waistline, or the smallest part of your waist.
Run tape around natural waistline, keeping tape parallel with floor. Bend to one side to find natural indentation in torso. This is your natural waist.
HIPS
This is a measurement around fullest part of your buttocks.
Wrap tape around the fullest part of your hips, which is usually 7-9" below your natural waistline. Keep tape parallel with floor all the way around.
HOLLOW TO HEM
This is the distance from your hollow to the hem of the dress.
Hold the measuring tape at your hollow while a friend pulls it down to the length you want your dress.
*Tips:
When taking this measurement, stand straight with your feet together.
We define knee length as the area just below your knee caps.
Measuring too high may result in a dress that is too short.
If this is a floor length dress please make sure you measure without wearing shoes.
BACK SHOULDER WIDTH
This is the distance from the edge of the left shoulder across to the prominent neck bone located at the center of the back of the neck continuing to the edge of the right shoulder.
Place the tape on "top" of the shoulders. Measure from the edge of the left shoulder across to the prominent neck bone located at the center of the back of the neck continuing to the edge of the right shoulder.
SLEEVE LENGTH
This is the measurement from your shoulder seam to where you would like your sleeve to end.
Measure from your shoulder seam to desired sleeve length with your arm relaxed by your side to get the best possible measurement.
*Tips:
Measure with your arm slightly bent.
ARMSCYE
This is the measurement of your armhole.
*Tips:
In order to take your armscye measurement, you must wrap the measuring tape over the top of your shoulder and around under your armpit.
ARM CIRCUMFERENCE
This is a measurement around the fullest part of your upper arm.
*Tips:
Measure with the muscle relaxed.
